It’s about that time. Family, finger food and fa la la la la!
Even though this means I am constantly battling a runny nose and cold hands, the thought of cheesy holiday songs keeps me warm. Oh, and the secret list I’ve been keeping up with for some time, my Christmas cravings.
If one of you happens to win the lottery and feels like blessing this lady with some budget cracking gifts… Ho-ho-hand these over.
1. Helmut Lang Bra Top. Whether tucked underneath or worn on top of a button up shirt: for me, this little cropped adds a dash of oompf in the season of layering.
2. Acne Hiloh Thigh High Boots. Oh hello, Hiloh. You are leather, thigh high and equipped with the perfect heel. (Overk)nee’d I say more? My favorite on the list!
3. Belstaff Tilda Shearling Leather Jacket. In times of cold, one must be dressed against it. Against snow, wind, sudden blizzards and other icy threats. This plush-lined cover up ticks all the boxes.
4. Valentino Orange Va-Va-Voom Leather Shoulder Bag. It’s on point. It’s out there. And it’s overly orange. Needless to say, I should be clinging on to it.
5. Isabel Marant Downtown Set-Of-Two Ear Cuffs. Some love to decorate Christmas trees, I love to decorate the ears. These gold tone ear cuffs allow a painless walk on the wild side, with slip on comfort.
6. Marni Bonded-Jersey Pants. I consider this bottom piece a rather strategic investment. When it comes to the holidays, I’m thinking 3 kilos ahead. Which calls for something scuba-like to flatter any Christmas garlands… Around the waist that is!
